Catrina Huddlestone, 43, from Ealing has spoken about her son's, addiction to gaming.

 

 A recent incident has emerged on Reddit as the new game 'Heavy Inside' (released in September 2019) has caused distress with young teens and parents alike.

 

The PEGI 12 game has had a major impact on the mindset of players. The scene receiving most feedback on Reddit is one that involved a gruesome, realistic death.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hanging scene in Heavy Inside

 

 

One young gamer commented, 

 

"It was mission 13/30 on Heavy Inside. It seemed great at first as me and my friends were playing it all together. I would say after about 15 minutes in, there was a point where you needed to enter an abandoned butchers. The main objective was to retrieve someone who was being hung inside. After assassinating many people along the way there was a point of just your character, an enemy and your mate who was hung from the ceiling.  What seemed so realistic and gruesome was when you were being choked by the enemy and you had to try and get out of it. At the point of death you see your mate hung up, shoot the enemy through the head as the blood pours out..."
